The original logo was created by a different designer and it is still being used––but Queen City Futsal needed an alternative logo that was brighter, younger and one that would incorporate the name within it––giving it better readability and more of a presence.
CHALLENGE: Font is hard to read
REQUEST: Keep the head logo and add a more readable typeface
In most Spanish-speaking countries––Football (soccer) is known as "El Deporte Rey", a.k.a The King of all sports. I took that as the starting point to define Futsal's positioning in the Seattle market. Futsal is a smaller, faster and more technical version of soccer––making it the perfect companion to soccer.
Custom team shields:
Queen City Futsal takes branding to a whole new level by creating a custom shield for each team that registers to play, making them feel more special by giving them their own identity. These are always fun to work on since I get to dig in a little deeper into each team's unique name and bring them to life.
